Outpatient Diagnostic Center

Pikeville Medical Center's Outpatient Diagnostic Center brings cutting edge technology, comfort and convenience to our patients.

The outpatient diagnostic center provides quick and convenient access for many of our patients. For example, patients needing blood drawn can bring their orders here rather than having to visit the main hospital.

In addition, the center offers a dedicated PET/CT scanner and many X-rays can be performed here as well.

A significant change patients will notice is the convenience of being able to park at and walk directly in to the outpatient diagnostic center for diagnostic images or  laboratory testing.

From the laboratory standpoint, patients will have extremely convenient access to the facility, eliminating the need to come to the main hospital for testing. With the high volume of patients utilizing PMC for lab tests, providing a seamless process - starting with parking and continuing until the patient walks out the door - was one of our main goals.
