If you are an expectant parent or a support partner, Pikeville Medical Center’s Prepared Childbirth Classes are here to help!

Our classes will educate you on the many experiences, challenges and joys you’ll face before and after delivery.

Developmental Specialist Rita Crum, RN, BA, will guide you through the four-week session covering:
  • Signs of Labor
  • Pain Management
  • Breastfeeding
  • Basic Infant Care
  • Infant CPR and Choking
  • Kangaroo Care
