and is 1 of only 7 in the U.S.
- The only One Year Plus One Neuromuscular Medicine/ Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (Plus One) Residency Program in KY and is 1 of only 18 in the U.S.
- 1 of only 4 Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment Medicine (FP&OMT) Residency Programs in KY

The Pikeville Medical Center Residency Programs blend the academic and service missions of Pikeville Medical Center with those of other local health care organizations and professionals.
Our dynamic residency programs are dedicated to educational excellence in a rural community setting. The residency programs prepare osteopathic practitioners, who are dedicated to meeting the health care needs of the people located in rural Kentucky. Doctors who choose to practice in Pikeville after completing their training will find abundant opportunities.
The Pikeville Family Practice Clinic is located on the campus of Pikeville Medical Center, with access to some of the most advanced clinical and diagnostic equipment to be found anywhere.
