The Lawson Cancer Center at Pikeville Medical Center has the advanced technology and tools needed to treat all types of cancer. Staffed by expert oncologists, surgical specialists, nurses, pharmacists, patient navigators and many other highly trained healthcare professionals, the Lawson Cancer Center makes it convenient for patients across Eastern Kentucky to receive advanced cancer care close to home.

The Lawson Cancer Center offers a wide range of services including medical oncology, hematology, chemotherapy, on-site biopsies and surgical services, genetic testing, patient navigation, financial counseling, clinical trials, palliative care and more. For an added convenience for patients, radiation therapy which utilizes the state-of-the-art TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and infusion services are offered seven days a week.
