PMC has nine specially trained physicians for orthopedic services. These board-certified specialists work together to provide the most advanced care for the region.

The Orthopedic Center earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal for Approval in total hip replacement, total knee replacement, and hip fracture.

PMC is the only hospital in KY to have attained all three of these certifications.

Anil Duggal, MD, and Devesh Sharma, MD, offer specialized services for patients with hand injuries, rheumatic diseases, such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Kevin Pugh, MD, Keith Hall, MD, and Anbu Nadar, MD, focus on providing advanced orthopedic surgery for hips, knees, and other orthopedic problems. They are devoted to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.

Matthew McCammon, DPM, and Mariano Rivera, DPM, focus on podiatry (foot and ankle surgery).  They also address underlying health issues, like diabetes, provided they are related to foot and ankle issues.

Jamie Varney, MD, provides the region with expertise in sports medicine. He gives patients with sports injuries comprehensive treatment.

PMC’s Orthopedic Department is located on the sixth floor of the clinic building and currently taking walk-in appointments daily from 8 am-9 am.
