In response to the demands of busy schedules and everyday life, Pikeville Medical Center is enhancing access to care with new extended scheduling hours and expanded pediatric services,
making it easier than ever for patients to prioritize their health.
Beginning June 1, PMC will begin offering extended hours for clinic appointment scheduling. Patients will now be able to call any PMC Clinic phone number to speak with a Care Coordinator
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. During these hours, patients can schedule appointments, ask questions about their care, and more.
To further reduce wait times and improve convenience, PMC has implemented an innovative callback system. If a representative is unavailable, callers can simply hang up, and a member of the care team will return the call as soon as possible. Once scheduled, appointment details can be easily accessed through the MyChart app.
In addition to extending scheduling hours, PMC is committed to providing convenient care for the children of Eastern Kentucky. PMC’s Urgent Care & Family Wellness Center Pediatricians are
now offering extended hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM for patients’ and parents’ convenience. PMC Urgent Care services are available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM seven days a week. Walk-ins are welcome; however, to make an appointment, call (606) 430-2230.
The PMC Urgent Care & Family Wellness Center is home to four expert pediatricians who are currently accepting new patients and accept walk-ins for sick patients. The Family Wellness Center
also features separate sick and well child waiting areas, and offers on-site lab and x-ray services for quicker diagnosis and treatment.
