Lawson Cancer Center is taking action this month to educate about the importance of colon cancer screening by setting up an interactive display in the hospital atrium.
Visitors had the chance to step inside a GIANT inflatable colon, taking an eye-opening journey to learn about the signs, risks and preventive screening methods for colon cancer.
According to the American Cancer Society, an estimated 106,590 new cases of colon cancer and 46,220 new cases of rectal cancer are expected in the U.S. in 2024. Early detection can save lives!
