Between work, school and daily life, parents also face the stress of making time for their children’s doctor’s appointments. This is why Pikeville Medical Center (PMC) is committed to providing
pediatric care during times that are more convenient for pediatric patients and those who care for them.
PMC’s pediatric providers are located at the PMC Urgent Care and Family Wellness Center on Cassady Boulevard in Pikeville. Beginning May 12th, they will be offering extended hours and
seeing patients until 6:30pm Monday through Friday.
The Urgent Care and Family Wellness Center features separate sick and well child waiting areas to help prevent the spread of illness. When the need arises, x-ray services and a lab are
conveniently available on site, enabling pediatric providers to expedite diagnosis and treatment. The providers and staff have also undergone extensive training to enable the facility to proudly be
recognized as a Certified Autism Center by the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES).
