To enhance patient convenience for those only needing to visit the hospital to get lab work done, PMC is pleased to offer a convenient lab collection site based in the Diagnostic Center. The Diagnostic Center’s Laboratory Collection Site is located across the street from the hospital in the riverfill parking area. Registration is available without visiting the main hospital and outpatients needing lab work only should go directly to the Diagnostic Center on the riverfill parking lot.

Pikeville Medical Center’s Diagnostic Center brings cutting edge technology, comfort and convenience to our patients.

The outpatient diagnostic center provides quick and convenient access for many of our patients. For example, patients needing blood drawn can bring their orders here rather than having to visit the main hospital.

A significant change patients will notice is the convenience of being able to park at and walk directly in to the outpatient diagnostic center for diagnostic images or laboratory testing.

From the laboratory standpoint, patients will have extremely convenient access to the facility, eliminating the need to come to the main hospital for testing. With the high volume of patients utilizing PMC for lab tests, providing a seamless process – starting with parking and continuing until the patient walks out the door – was one of our main goals.
