Volunteering is a rewarding experience for both the volunteer and those they serve. Volunteers at PMC are dedicated to interacting with and ensuring visitors, patients and staff have a positive experience. The team of volunteers provides an assortment of services including collecting donated reading materials, providing guidance and directions and accompanying patients and visitors throughout the hospital. While PMC has taken many steps to make visits to the hospital as pleasant as possible, there may still be a degree of anxiety or uncertainty that exists for those entering the facility. With that in mind, PMC volunteers are committed to providing a warm smile, compassionate heart and a listening ear for everyone they come in contact with.
