Construction Updates
Pikeville Medical Center is pleased to announce that we have several construction projects in the planning stages, currently underway, and recently completed to provide our community with new and better services!
NEW ER Department
PMC's new ER will consume much of the first floor! The ER is currently under construction. More details to come soon!
New ICU Plans
The project will consist of three phases that will include a 12 bed transitional unit, one 8 bed medical unit and a future 8 bed medical unit. Total project costs are over $5.5 million dollars. The Board has approved the project and the location of the project will be on the 9th floor of the May Tower. Once completed the project will consume the entire 9th floor area.
