Dr. Judhan received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) Degree from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. He completed his residency and general surgery internship at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, N.Y., and Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, W.Va.
Dr. Judhan specializes in trauma reconstruction, general surgery and surgical critical care.
“I love the unpredictability of the conditions that come through the emergency room and into the trauma bay,” said Dr. Judhan. “The dynamic nature of trauma, the quick thinking and giving trauma patients a chance to live is a huge part of the reason I chose my specialty.”
He also enjoys opportunities to interact with his patients. Improving and saving their lives are his measuring stick for success.
“My goal is to maintain quality of care while providing my patients with the best care I possibly can,” he said.
Good communication is a key component for Dr. Judhan and something he says patients can expect in his practice.
Dr. Judhan said two of his colleagues were instrumental in helping PMC acquire its level II trauma status and he wants to be part of the program.
He said, “I also want to give back to the community that helped train me in my general surgery residency.”
